Meet Amber, the heart behind Paw & Plant Homecare.
Growing up in the country surrounded by horses, chickens, emus, and all kinds of animals, caring for them has always come naturally to me.
My journey into professional pet sitting began unexpectedly when the gene therapy company I worked for closed. What started as a temporary side gig quickly became something I enjoyed, thanks to the wonderful animals and families I met along the way.
With a background in medical laboratory science, I bring an eye for detail to every visit, from following specific routines to noticing the little changes in an animal's behavior.
Today, I continue caring for pets and homes personally as much as my schedule allows. When additional help is needed, I work with a small network of independent sitters, helping families arrange care while staying involved along the way.
